The Fire Department's role in the development plan review process is to ensure that the effects of an emergency situation can be prevented and/or minimized through proper application of code requirements, both before and after construction, to ensure life safety and property protection. This document provides a brief outline of the areas that the Fire Prevention Division is concerned with in this process.
