Community Animal Response Team (CART)
Providing Prevention, Preparedness, Response, and Recovery
for Emergencies Affecting Animals
A Community Animal Response Team (CART) program is a network of animal and animal-agricultural resources that are available for planning, prevention, protection, mobilization, response, and recovery related to emergency incidents within their community.
The CART brochure contains additional information, including an interest form you can complete to become involved in Chesapeake's CART program.
If you are interested in joining CART as a volunteer or want to know more about CART, contact Watson Lawrence, Director of Agriculture at firstname.lastname@example.org or 757-382-6348.
