Visual Displays and Driving Distractions
46.2-1078 of the Virginia State Code states that it is unlawful to operate motor vehicles, bicycles, electric personal mobility devices; electric power assisted bicycles or moped wearing earphones on or in both ears.
46.2-1077 - Motor vehicles are not to be equipped with television within view of the driver, viewing motion picture or similar displays while driving.
46.2-1077.01 - It is unlawful for the operator of any motor vehicle on a public highway to display or permit the display within the vehicle of any image, motion picture or video display that is defined as obscene if the image, motion picture or video display can be seen by persons outside the vehicle. 18.2-372. of the state code defines "obscene".
