The Third Precinct is located in the Deep Creek section of the City and covers the most land area of all the Chesapeake Police Precincts. Third Precinct Patrol Officers are responsible for 160.7 miles of the City's 353 total square miles (45.52%). This Precinct covers 5 of the City's 25 daytime Patrol Beats. The Third Precinct is committed to providing a Community Policing philosophy by focusing on quality of life issues.
