Belharbour Property
CP-12-01 is a resolution by City Council (3/13/2012) requesting the Planning Commission to consider and make recommendations to amend the policies and land use plan of the 2026 Comprehensive Plan to change the land use designation for the Belharbour property from Poindexter Street Corridor Strategic Development Plan to an appropriate designation consistent with current conditions.
A Community Input Meeting was held in the South Norfolk Community Center on April 30, 2012. Approximately 40 citizens attended and all comments have been compiled for review.
CP-12-01 is scheduled for the May 9, 2012 Planning Commission Agenda but will be continued 30 days. Comments regarding this Land Use Decision can be submitted here or mailed to Attn: Bill McKay, Senior Planner, 306 Cedar Road, 2nd Floor Planning Department, Chesapeake, VA 23322 by June 1, 2012.
Public Hearing comments for the Seagate Terminals (R-12-01) application should be addressed to the Planning Commission and can be mailed to Attn: Planning Commission, 306 Cedar Road, 2nd Floor Planning Department, Chesapeake, VA 23322. This project is also scheduled for May 9th but will be continued 30 days.
