Sharing Your Photos/Videos with the City of Chesapeake

Please take notice that by sharing your photographs/videos on the City of Chesapeake’s Social Media pages, you grant the City of Chesapeake, including all its departments and agencies, a non-exclusive license to use, copy, store, republish, display, edit, modify or create derivative works of your photographs/videos in any form or medium, forever, without any further approval by you and without payment or consideration to you of any kind. You further understand and assert that, to the best of your knowledge, and belief, your submission of the photograph(s)/video(s) do/does not in any way violate the intellectual property rights of any person or business entity, and you hereby agree to indemnify, defend and save harmless the City of Chesapeake, its officials, employees and agents from and against any and all claims arising from the City’s use of the photographs/videos under this license, including, but not limited to, infringement of intellectual property rights.
