Please join us in putting the pieces together as we look at various issues and scenarios that we all face with our residents on a daily basis. Learn how the Thrives' 8 priority areas are working together to face the challenges of poverty. Before birth and continuing throughout an individual's life, poverty can significantly impact health and health outcomes. Factors such as food insecurity, suboptimal housing, and a lack of access to healthcare can reduce both lifespan and quality of life. The Thrives' priority areas are so deeply intertwined that each piece is an important part of the whole puzzle to create a healthy community.

Together, we will work to help our residents THRIVE and make Chesapeake an exceptional place to live, learn, work, farm and play!
