Where The Heart Is and The City of Chesapeake present Juneteenth: A Community Cookout, powered by the Chesapeake Climate Action Network.

Come celebrate with us! Bring your family and friends for a day filled with delicious food, music, games, and community. We will have a childrens tent courtesy of the Chesapeake Fine Arts Commission featuring Juneteenth focused coloring pages and activities. Our friends with the Chesapeake NAACP are curating a black business market for all of your shopping needs. Utopia Feni will be curating a creative village highlighting local, community-focused, black artists and brands. Be sure to also stop by and see some of the best DJ's the area has to offer, courtesy of iHeart Media.
