Annual inspections of all elevators, dumbwaiters, moving stairways, moving walks, and man lifts are required to be performed by an approved third-party elevator inspector. Upon the completion of the inspection, a certificate of compliance will be issued by the City of Chesapeake. A $50 fee of each moving device is required
