We offer a variety of youth athletic league programs for both boys and girls. On this page you will find information on all our youth leagues.

2023/2024 Winter Basketball - Boys ages 5 to 16 and Girls ages 5 to 13 (age as of December 31, 2023)

Fee: $60 ($80 non-resident)

Registration Opens: September 11, 2023

Registration Deadline: October 23, 2023

Practice: Begins early December (see note)

Season: January 6 to mid-March 2024 (see note)

Equipment Provided to Players: Game jersey, practice and game balls

Recommended Equipment for Players to Bring: Basketball shorts without pockets, basketball shoes

Note: Coaches set the practice schedules. Once coaches receive their team assignments, they will contact their players and provide practice schedules to parents. Game schedules will be posted online prior to the beginning of the season.

Online Registration

Go to our registration main page and either select Activities in the top bar on the left-hand side to find the sport, or select the search icon on the right-hand side to search by sport name.

Registration for Tackle football can be completed either in person or online but due to weight requirements, player must be weighed in person. For in-person registration, parent/guardian and child must be present at registration and weigh-in, and for online registration, player will need to be weighed in person (and accompanied by parent/guardian) on a date determined by Parks, Recreation and Tourism Athletic Department staff. Evaluations, Practices, Games

Once registration ends, athletic staff must coordinate evaluation sessions, put teams together, and assign coaches.

Evaluation and game schedules - evaluation schedules will be posted online prior to assignment of teams and beginning of practices. Game schedules will be posted online prior to the beginning of the season. Coaches set their own practice schedules. Once coaches receive their team assignments, they will contact their players and provide practice schedules to parents.
