Horseback riding in the Park's equestrian area and horse trails is available to horse owners with memberships, campers and group rentals from 9 a.m. until posted sunset.
Fish our stocked Lake Lesa for trout, bass, bluegill, crappie, and catfish. Or hike to our pier on the Northwest River for Yellow Perch and some winter Stripers.
Geocaching is a hi-tech treasure hunt where participants of all ages use a handheld global positioning service (GPS) or GPS-enabled mobile device to navigate to coordinates and then attempt to find a geocache hidden within the area.
Hiking along Northwest River Park's many trails brings nature up close. Venture down Otter Point, encounter a deer on the "Deer Island Trail," or stroll along any of the park's more than seven miles of winding trails.
