Background Checks for Interns

In order to ensure the safety of our citizens and employees, long-term internship positions (more than 30 days) require background checks in accordance with the Criminal History Policy - See Administrative Regulation 2.52 (PDF).

All interns over the age of 18 will be subject to fingerprinting for a national criminal history record check.

Interns working directly with juveniles, disabled, or elderly individuals will be required to complete a Child Protective Service record check.
