The Chesapeake Environmental Improvement Council Environmental Awards Program is an annual celebration to recognize those individuals, groups, or organizations that have been involved in outstanding recycling, beautification, litter control, and environmental projects in Chesapeake. A panel of judges from the Chesapeake Environmental Improvement Council determines the winning individuals and organizations from nominations received each year, and the winners are recognized at a special event the following year.
