WATER SERVICE TO BE DISRUPTED
CHESAPEAKE- The Chesapeake Public Utilities department will be performing work on the water main which serves Bainbridge Blvd. from Paxson Street to Edgewood Avenue overnight on Thursday, August 21. The work will take place from 10:00 p.m. Thursday until 5:00 a.m. Friday, August 22.
This operation may cause discoloration to customer’s water once service is restored. This discoloration is normal and not harmful. Water should return to a normal, clear state within a few hours. Customers whose water is not clear by 12:00 p.m. on Friday should contact the Public Utilities Customer Service staff at 382-6352 (until 5:00 p.m.) or 382-3550 (after 5:00 p.m. and on weekends).
Streets affected by this disruption include:
Bainbridge Blvd. from Edgewood Ave. to Paxson St.
All of Edgewood Ave. west of Bainbridge Blvd. to the dead end
All of Rowland Ave.
All of Harvard Drive
All of Yale Drive
All of Ferebee Ave.
All of Redstart Ave.
All of Avalon Ave.
All of Kinglet Ave.
All of Eastwood Ave.
All of Swain Ave.
