TASK FORCE TO HOLD GANG FORUM
CHESAPEAKE – The Mayor’s Task Force for the Prevention of Gangs is conducting the Second Annual Holistic Approach to Gang Activity in Chesapeake: Education and Awareness Community Forum on May 1, 2008, at the Great Bridge Primary School, 408 Cedar Road. The Forum will run from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., and is open to the public.
The Forum is designed to inform and educate residents about gangs, share the City’s intervention, prevention, and suppression strategies, and to provide links to local, state, and national resources. Panel discussions will be conducted featuring members of the City staff, the Chamber of Commerce, youth services providers, and others.
