2003 Anniversary City Decal

2003 was a special year for the City of Chesapeake - we celebrated 40 years as a city.

In 1963, Norfolk County (established in 1636) and the City of South Norfolk (established in 1921) combined to create the City of Chesapeake. Since then, Chesapeake has developed into one of the largest and most prosperous cities in the State.

To celebrate this occasion, Barbara Carraway, City Treasurer, designed a special decal to commemorate the 40th anniversary of our City. The anniversary decal is done in full color and incorporates the City seal.
