Soil Disposal Program

The Department of Public Works (Stormwater Management Division) is seeking sites to dispose of soil removed from drainage maintenance operations. Citizens wishing to receive soil generated from City projects can receive an application by calling the Stormwater Division at 382-3337. Applicants must include a sketch showing proposed fill area to ensure that the soil is not being used to fill wetlands or other sensitive areas without the required permits. Choice of delivery sites will be determined on the proximity of the maintenance work performed.
