Brittany Leigh Sison

photo - Brittany Leigh SisonHello and welcome to Chesapeake. I am 17 year-old Brittany Leigh Sison... or as they're calling me around the office lately, Mr. Mark Cox. On May 2, 2002 I had the honor of shadowing Mr. Cox for a day and learning the ropes as Director of Public Communications.

I am very excited to graduate from the fully accreditted Hickory High School on June 13th, 2002. Following graduation, I will attend Virginia Commonwealth University on a Dean's scholarship in the Fall of 2002 to study Mass Communications. Look for me in ten years on a national news broadcast!

As an honor student at Hickory, I have been actively involved in various activities throughout high school. I have served as Editor-In-Chief of the city's top high school newspaper, the Hickory Hawkeye. I have also been a member of the Hickory Forensics Team, through which I have been a district champion in Original Oratory.

My favorite extra-curricular activity was cheering for the national championship winning American Cheer Elite throughout high school. Besides these activities you can find on the top of my list of things to do, you can find attending Astronomy Club meetings with Mary Hing-Hickman, National Honor Society functions, and any activity involving WCTV Channel 48, Chesapeake's esteemed television station. I love spending time with my beautiful nephew Chandler. I would like to thank Mark Cox and his entire department for graciously allowing me to follow them around and ask lots of questions.
