ADVISORY BOARD
The City of Chesapeake Parks and Recreation Advisory Board is a 16-member advisory body appointed by City Council. The Board makes recommendations relative to planning of facilities and programs and makes policy for the department's athletic rules and regulations. They also review and endorse the department's annual operating budget. The meetings are held at 6 p.m. on the first Thursday of the month. Meetings take place at one of the community centers on a rotating basis. Call (757) 382-6411 for the current location.
