COMMAND BUS
The Command Bus has one overwhelming benefit to the emergency services throughout Virginia and North Carolina -- its mobility. We can now bring a complete mobile office out to the scene of an emergency and provide the incident command staff, on scene, with the resources needed to cope with demanding emergency operations.

The Command Bus is actually a refurbished passenger bus. Firefighters loaned their talents to reconfigure it to accommodate up to 6 radio positions and a command and control office. The unit is capable of broadcasting over a wide spectrum of radio frequencies.
