Chesapeake boasts several dog parks! For dog owners, these parks mean a healthier lifestyle for their furry friends. Such parks provide a place to exercise and socialize, which means happy, well-behaved canines. They also provide pet owners with a place to share information about vets, boarding, training and simply the joys of pet ownership.
Need a membership or license? You can purchase your dog park memberships and licenses at the Chesapeake Visitor Center or Parks, Recreation and Tourism’s Administrative Office located at 1224 Progressive Drive, Chesapeake, VA 23320. Phone: 757-382-6411
Only dog parks are off-leash, fenced-in; contain benches, water fountains for dogs and owners, poop-scoop bags and covered trash cans. The parks are open daily from sunrise to sunset.
