Department Rules and Policies

The 2017 Department Rules and Policies are adaptive to athletic recreational league play to ensure enhanced participation, training and enjoyment of the sport. The Chesapeake Parks and Recreation Advisory Board conducts an annual public meeting to receive input from the public about new rules and/or changes to the existing rules.

Anyone wishing to submit rules for consideration for the 2018 sports seasons may do so in writing to the Chesapeake Parks, Recreation and Tourism Administration Offices, 1224 Progressive Drive, Chesapeake, VA 23320, by April 30, 2018.
