Virtual Ceremony and Celebration

Virtual Ceremony on Facebook Live

Join the virtual ceremony on Tuesday, October 27 as we celebrate the City of Chesapeake's 34th Arbor Day event! The Chesapeake Environment Improvement Council Chair and Tree Board Chair will share the importance of planting trees at this annual ceremony. Mayor Rick West will read the Arbor Day proclamation before viewers are inspired with a tree planting demonstration by a Chesapeake Master Gardener. This event will go live on the Chesapeake Parks, Recreation and Tourism Facebook page around, or shortly after, 2 p.m..
