Get your holiday shopping started early.
Talented artisans display and sell their crafts at this traditional opening of the holiday shopping season in Chesapeake.

Over 90 crafters to shop from for handmade gifts and decorations!

We welcome your little ones to visit us in our Winter Wonderland room where they will be able to make crafts that they can take home. Kids Run Trains will also be on hand to demonstrate their awesome trains. Of course we'll have SANTA CLAUS visits from 12:00-3:00 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday (Parents, bring your camera!). Chessie, the Parks, Recreation and Tourism mascot, will also be around and available for pictures on both days. Concessions will be available for purchase.

Crafter Application Fee
(due with application)

Early Bird Application Fee:
March 1 - 31 postmarked: $10.00

Regular Application Fee:
April 1 - May 31 postmarked: $15.00

Late Application Fee:
June 1 - July 20 postmarked: $25.00

 Crafter Acceptance Fees
(not due until after Crafter has received acceptance notification)

Resident: $125.00

Non-Resident: $135.00

Electrical Access: +$60.00

 

FEES:

Crafters MUST include an Application Fee ONLY when submitting their application.

Once you submit your application online, a confirmation screen will appear with a link to pay your Application Fee online or you may return here to the Holiday Craft Show web page and click on the link below under #1. See instructions below under #2 and #3 regarding application fee payments for mail-in or in person applications.

Please DO NOT send Acceptance Fees until after you have been notified of placement.

PHOTOS:

Photos must be submitted to complete the application process. Please submit a minimum of 3 photos and a maximum of 5. After submitting this application, please email photos to shunter@cityofchesapeake.netApplication will not be reviewed or processed without photos.

 

The Application contains information regarding fees, deadlines and requirements.

There are three ways vendors can apply: Online, by mail or in person.

1.  Online.
Note: You are required to email a minimum of 3 photos (maximum of 5) of your crafts to complete your application process. Send your photos to shunter@cityofchesapeake.net. Applications will not be reviewed or processed without photos.

2.  Mail - Fill out the application, print it out and mail it in with payment. Make checks payable to City of Chesapeake Treasurer. Don't forget to email a minimum of 3 photos (maximum of 5) of your crafts! Email your photos to shunter@cityofchesapeake.net or include prints with your application when you mail it in. Applications will not be reviewed or processed without photos.

3.  In Person - Fill out the application, print it out and drop it off in an envelope with payment by check, or come on in and pay by check, cash or credit card. Make checks payable to City of Chesapeake Treasurer. Don't forget to include a minimum of 3 photos (maximum of 5) of your crafts! Email your photos to shunter@cityofchesapeake.net or include prints with your application when you drop it off. Applications will not be reviewed or processed without photos.
