Ceremony: 8:30 a.m. at the Chesapeake 9/11 Memorial

Concert: 12:00 p.m. at the Bagley Stage
Featuring Symphonicity and Daniel Rodriguez, the 9/11 Singing Policeman

On September 11, 2001, nearly 3,000 people in New York City, at the Pentagon, and near Shanksville, Pennsylvania, lost their lives during the terrorist attacks, which changed our lives forever. Join us as we remember those who perished, to honor those who rose in service to assist in the search and recovery efforts, and to pay tribute to those who protect and defend our country in the ongoing war against terrorism by attending this special 20th Anniversary Day of Remembrance. The keynote speaker for the ceremony is Daniel Rodriguez, the 9/11 Singing Policeman. Also known as “America’s Beloved Tenor,” Mr. Rodriguez will also be performing during the concert with Symphonicity beginning at noon. Food trucks will be on site before the ceremony.
