Holiday Tree Disposal & Recycling Tips
How do I dispose of my live Christmas tree?
For the two weeks after Christmas, you can dispose of your live Christmas tree by placing it at the curb (after removing all ornaments, lights and tinsel) on your scheduled garbage day. Be aware that your garbage day may change due to the holiday schedule. You do not need to schedule a bulk pickup to dispose of your tree during those two weeks only. Trees collected during this time avoid the landfill and are brought to a mulching center.
