Halifax Drainage Outfall Phase II / D St. Drainage Improvements
This project will provide improvements to the 10-year storm level of protection for the outfall channel and pipe within the drainage area. Work includes upstream improvements from Bainbridge Blvd. toward A St., which includes approximately 1,250 feet of ditch and channel widening, to include pipe crossing D St. and B St.
Improvements will also be made to roadside drainage along D St. and intersections from 207 D St. south to Decatur St. These improvements include gutters, drainage structures and pipes.
Plans are at 90% complete. The re-survey is complete, with plans being finalized to begin right-of-way acquisition. The environmental review is complete, and the USACOE wetland permit has been acquired.
