Chesapeake Crime Prevention Council
The Chesapeake Crime Prevention Council (C.C.P.C.) is a non-profit organization that works hand-in-hand with the Chesapeake Police Department and the Chesapeake Sheriff's Office to educate and inform citizens of Chesapeake about crime, crime prevention and the Neighborhood Watch Program.
The purpose of the C.C.P.C. is to encourage citizens/businesses to participate in crime prevention and reduction programs. Educate as to their roles and responsibilities in preventing and reducing crime. Identify crime problems and support community based programs to address those problems. Improve attitudes and communication between citizens/businesses and law enforcement officials. Support law enforcement efforts in crime prevention and reduction.
