The Customer Contact Center serves as the City’s first point-of-contact for citizens as well as visitors and individuals doing business with the City. Customers may dial one easy phone number “382-CITY” (757-382-2489) to reach our experienced, award-winning Customer Service Advocates who will be happy to assist with requests for City services or information.
The Customer Contact Center also facilitates the online “Request a City Service” system that is available 24-hours per day, 7-days a week through the City’s website. Customers may request bulk trash pickup, repair of City-owned trash/recycling containers, pothole repair or street maintenance, schedule building and fire inspections, athletic field and park maintenance or report blocked ditches, report suspected zoning violations, and many other services provided by the City. Our state-of-the-art computer system automatically routes the requests to the responsible department for prompt resolution.
You can also request a variety of Chesapeake government services through our quick and easy to use mobile Chesapeake Service Request app. Request services such as bulk trash collection and report community related concerns. You can also track the progress on your reported issues. Let us serve you!
