The Chesapeake Jubilee is a 4-day annual event to celebrate the City’s anniversary and also to build community spirit and cohesiveness. It features the Chesapeake 4-H livestock show, top entertainers, rides, food, fireworks and more.

The Chesapeake Arboretum is a 47-acre site with gardens, mature hardwood forest, perennial stream, hiking trails, tree nursery and 1730's farmhouse headquarters. It is dedicated to promoting horticultural and environmental awareness through displays, education and research. It is located at 624 Oak Grove Road in Chesapeake (directions).
