Odyssey is committed to providing comprehensive palliative care, which is oriented to comfort measure and the successful management of pain and discomforting symptoms.
Hospice services are benefits available through Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurance companies.
Special arrangements to communicate with patients/caregivers with limited language proficiency and hearing or speech impairment will be made at no cost to the patient upon request.

Bon Secours Hospice has the distinction of being the fist hospice in Hampton Roads. We are committed to providing compassionate care to terminally ill patients and their families. When curative treatment is no longer an option, receiving compassion, sympathy and comfort measures are important. Our goal is to meet physical, emotional and spiritual needs so that whatever time remains is valuable to the patient and loved ones.
Patients are referred by their treating physician, who continues to manage care. The hospice team includes nurses, social workers, nursing assistants, pastoral care and volunteers. Hospice benefits are available through Medicare and most insurance plans. For more information, please call 398-2338.
