Meetings
The Mayor's Commission on Veterans Affairs (MCOVA) meets the third Thursday of every month. Meetings are normally held in the Chesapeake City Hall 4th floor training room located at 306 Cedar Road, Chesapeake, VA 23322. The meetings start at 1900 (7 p.m.) and generally last less than one hour. Meetings are open to the public and inputs are encouraged.
The Veterans Affairs Commission is always looking for volunteers who appreciate and desire to recognize the service of our Veterans to community and nation. If you are interested in volunteering to serve on the Commission and desire additional information, please contact any current member.
To apply for the Mayor's Commission on Veterans Affairs, submit a Boards and Commissions application form online to the City Clerk's Office.
If you require additional information concerning service on the Commission or wish to provide inputs for consideration by the Commission, please contact any current member who will gladly assist you.
