Chesapeake Treasurer's Office,
City Hall, 306 Cedar Rd
Dominion Boulevard Veterans Bridge
Toll Rate Increase: 12:01 a.m. July 1
The first scheduled toll increase for the Dominion Blvd Veterans Bridge will go into effect at 12:01 a.m. Saturday, July 1. Tolls for all vehicle classes will increase by 5% which is $.05 for most passenger vehicles ($1.05 with E-ZPass, $3.05 without). This toll increase is part of the multi-year toll scheduled approved by Chesapeake City Council on July 10, 2012.
Have an E-ZPass? Make sure it's registered and fully funded! Motorists whose E-ZPass accounts have insufficient funds will be charged the non-E-ZPass toll rate ($3 instead of $1 for a passenger vehicle). Make sure your transponder is registered and fully funded, preferably using auto replenishment.
You can also pay in person at the main Chesapeake City Treasurer's Office in City Hall (306 Cedar Rd) or at the Chesapeake Expressway Office (168 Toll Plaza Rd).
*Please note that all toll disputes must be done through www.PayDominionTolls.com and cannot be handled at any walk-in location.
