The Resilience Partnership is a coalition of the Commonwealth of Virginia, localities, and community groups with a stake in how Hampton Roads will respond to on-going environmental changes and learn to live with water. To support that effort, Virginia is currently applying for assistance through a grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development that supports innovative resilience projects at the local level. Atlantic Coast Pipeline, LLC is proposing to construct and operate an approximately 554-mile long underground natural gas transmission pipeline and above ground facilities, part of which will be located in Chesapeake. A FERC Scoping meeting
