The  Chesapeake Alert emergency notification system recently experienced a major technical failure, and most of the subscriber information was lost.  The system is now restored and ready to be used again.  Taking a moment to register will ensure that you receive important City notices and information.  Thank you.

Nominations Open:  Chesapeake First Citizen Award

The Chesapeake First Citizen Award is presented annually by the Chesapeake Rotary Club to an outstanding individual who best exemplifies the spirit of citizenship and who has shown significant leadership through his/her time, talents, and efforts to enhance the quality of life in the City of Chesapeake.  The deadline for nominations is March 31, 2012.
