Pump Panel
The pump panel is where all water that is pumped in or out of the Fire Engine is controlled. Water is brought in to the pump via a 2 ½ or 5 inch hose from another engine or fire hydrant. This water then can be pumped out of the truck via a 1 ¾ or 2 ½ inch hose or the "deck gun" mounted on top of the truck.
Fire Engines also bring their own water with them. The water tanks range from 500 to 1000 gallons depending on the unit.
