The following bids and proposals are available to interested firms. Solicitation documents are available by clicking on the item, or may be obtained from the Purchasing Division, 306 Cedar Road, 5th Floor, Chesapeake, VA 23322. Vendors may also call (757) 382-6359 to receive a solicitation package.

Documents cannot be sent via fax, nor can bids or proposals be submitted via fax. Bids or proposals must be returned in a sealed envelope. NO LATE BIDS OR PROPOSALS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Solicitation Addendum

The person in your firm authorized to bind the company must sign all addenda, and return an original signed copy with the bid or proposal. The addendum becomes a part of the bid or proposal package and supercedes original specifications that are changed by the addendum. It is the responsibility of all offerors to obtain all addenda and return a signed copy to the Purchasing Division.

The City of Chesapeake is pleased to announce the utilization of Onvia DemandStar, an online government purchasing database, effective April 1, 2010. Onvia DemandStar brings together government agencies and suppliers and enables us to improve our service by providing automatic bid notification and instant access to bid information via the Web.

If you are a vendor interested in doing business with the City of Chesapeake, you can register with Onvia DemandStar and be notified by e-mail when the City of Chesapeake post bids that interest you.
