Recycling Perks

Recycling Perks is a brand new program that aims to increase participation in the recycling program by providing great incentives through a simple points system!  Once you sign up for the free program, you will start earning points every week you put that big blue bin filled with recyclables out by the street.  Then, use your points to earn discounts at local restarants, stores and activities.  It's that simple!

Cost to the City
None!  There is no cost to the city or to the citizens for this program.  Everything is run entirely through Recycling Perks.

Value to the City
The purpose of the Recycling Perks program is to encourage more people to recycle year-round.  The City saves money every time waste is diverted from the landfills because of recycling.  These savings add up and have the potential to make a real difference. 

Value to the Citizens
By participating in the Recyling Perks program, citizens can earn up to $25 each month in local discounts.  Get money off at the grocery store, take the kids out for an afternoon of low-cost fun or have an affordable dinner out - just for recycling!

Value to the Environment
Perhaps even more important than the cost savings that are a direct result of recycling is the long-term investment in the environment.  Recycling minimizes pollution, saves energy and promotes a more sustainable community.
