Rain Barrel Workshop

Collecting rainwater in a barrel can save you money during the dry seasons and reduce demand on your well or save on your water bill.  With a roof of 1,000 square feet, an inch of rain can generate 600 gallons of water!

At each rain barrel workshop, you'll learn about the many uses of a rain barrel and you'll even build one yourself!  All supplies are included in the $40 fee.  Classes run on the third Saturday of every month between March through October only.  To learn how to make a rain barrel yourself during the off season, visit the Ask HR Green website for a construction guide.
