The replacement of the Steel Bridge is currently the City's "number one" transportation priority. Design work is complete. The initial phase will include the following improvements:

• Widening of Dominion Boulevard to a four-lane divided toll roadway
• Replacement of the existing Steel Bridge
• Construction of grade-separated interchanges at the intersections of Dominion Boulevard with Cedar Road, relocated Bainbridge/Dominion Lakes Boulevard and Great Bridge Boulevard

Rush Hour Restrictions*: 7:00 - 9:00 AM and 4:00 - 6:00 PM
