Skateboards

Skateboards are not permitted for safety reasons. Quite often, when a person falls off a skateboard, it can shoot out from the skateboarder. The skateboard could hit a small child, cause a bicyclist to fall or spook a horse and throw the rider. Because of the large amount of natural debris that can be on the trail, a skateboard could have its wheels suddenly stop, throwing the rider to the ground. Skates are permitted as they are attached to the person and the person has more control.
