Deep Creek Park partially opens effective December 1, 2011

Deep Creek Park hosts four multi-purpose fields-two lighted, plus four tournament-quality baseball fields (Bronco and Pony) - all lighted, which showcase grass infields and are irrigated for durability and performance.

• ADA-accessible play area
• Picnic Shelters
• Trail - stone-dust perimeter trail for walking/hiking (+/- 1 mile)

UPDATES:

The Parks and Recreation Department has a 230-acre park in Deep Creek that City Council approved funds to develop phase I of the park. The project was funded in the FY 2008/2009 Capital Improvement Budget for $4,836,361. DC Park will include the introduction of four multi-purpose fields, as well as four baseball fields.

December 2011: Deep Creek Park was accepted, as "construction completed," by the City on December 1, 2011. All athletic fields are CLOSED to public use until at least late spring 2012, to allow the grass to become well established and up to full potential.

March 2012: Deep Creek Park Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held Saturday, March 24, 2012.
