Urban Forest Division
The City of Chesapeake strives to enhance the quality of life in our community by ensuring the sustainability of the urban forest and conservation of natural resources. Harmonious development which seeks to retain our link with the natural environment is promoted through science, education, shared knowledge and shared partnerships.
The Urban Forest Division is the primary agency responsible for managing trees and forests in Chesapeake. For more information about trees and the urban forest, and the next tree planting volunteer opportunity, contact the Urban Forester at 757-382-6441.
