The department’s Administrative Division provides leadership and guidance in formulating departmental policies, managing finances, personnel, data processing, accounting, secretarial support, receptionist, communication services and management information for all the operating divisions of Parks and Recreation; provides professional and administrative support to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, the Chesapeake Environmental Improvement Council, and to the Chesapeake Fine Arts Commission. In addition, this division oversees storekeeping and work order requests for the Parks and Recreation Department and Facilities Management.
