Monetary Donations
Another way to donate is through a monetary donation, with checks being made payable to the City of Chesapeake in care of Youth Services Coordinator (Mary Russo Riley), Office of Youth Services.
Title I is short for "Part A of Title I of the Improving America's Schools Act of 1994, Reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965." Title I Programs assist children in grades K-5 and their parents in economically distressed communities to help improve reading and math skills. Title I is the oldest federal education program in existence today.
These programs are unique because they work with children and their parents, enabling parents to help their children study and learn at home.
For monetary donations,
please make checks payable to
City of Chesapeake
in care of Mary Russo Riley,
Youth Services Coordinator.
