Mayor's Youth Day

Mayor's Youth Day is an excellent opportunity for youth to learn how their city operates by shadowing City employee staff.  MYD will give students the opportunity to see a relationship between their educational experiences and career choices, learn about the world of work and expose them to a particular field of interest. 

Over 200 Chesapeake public and private school youth take place in this yearly event.
