Single Room Occupancy Apartments
The City of Chesapeake is a part of a regional effort to end homelessness. One of the strategies we are using to meet this goal is through the development of Supportive Room Occupancy (SRO) apartments.
The SRO will consists of sixty studio apartments for homeless single adults without children. Virginia Supportive Housing (VSH) is the regional developer for the permanent supportive housing developments in South Hampton Roads. For more information regarding the regional SRO's please visit the Virginia Supportive Housing Website.
See updates on Heron's Landing, Chesapeake's supportive studio apartments.
Call the Bureau of Community Programs, Housing at 757-382-6925 for eligibility requirements.
