Chesapeake Farmers' Market

Locations & Hours

For the year 2012 the Farmer's Market will operate on Saturdays and Wednesdays from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Opening day is Saturday, June 16th. This season, it has been temporarily relocated to the Battlefield Park at 120 Reservation Road. This is at the foot of the Great Bridge Bridge.

It is anticipated that the new Farmers' Market Building at Chesapeake City Park will be available in the Summer of 2012. At that time, the market will be moved and remain there until it closes on November 21st. These plans are contingent upon the progress of construction.

Promote locally grown agricultural products to stimulate the farm economy and preserve our agricultural base. Provide an opportunity for citizens to enjoy fresh products directly from local farms.
