Brazilian Festival 2011
The 2011 Brazilian Festival was a great success! Thanks to all the organizers, sponsors, volunteers, and those of you who came out to enjoy the day! Coming soon, details on the 2012 Festival, which will be held as part of Chesapeake's OpSail Virginia celebration in June. Expect even more fun in 2012!

Saturday, October 15, 2011, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Join us for family fun at the 2nd annual Brazilian Festival at Towne Place at Greenbrier.
Chesapeake Sister Cities hosts this annual event to honor its Sister City, Joinville, Santa Catarina, Brazil. It celebrates all things Brazilian, from music to food to dance. Fun for kids and entertaining for adults. International food and other vendors will be on site.
Be sure to check out the silent auction and raffle. Among the many great items, there will be a tour of the South Norfolk Jordan Bridge currently under construction, room nights at local hotels, valuable gift baskets from Economic Development and Lil'Pops Enterprises, and two iPads!
