The Tidewater Community College Board is a Regional board, which assists in ascertaining educational needs, enlisting community involvement and support for Chesapeake 's campus of Tidewater Community College. The Board also acts in an advisory capacity to the State Board of Community Colleges and performs such studies with respect to the operation of the Chesapeake Campus as delegated to it by the State Board.
