The Chesapeake Community Services Board optimizes quality of life by providing exceptional services to the citizens of Chesapeake whose lives are affected by mental illness, intellectual disabilities, substance abuse, or developmental difficulties.
Meetings
Board meetings are held the second Monday of each month (except when meeting dates fall on City holidays) at 5:00 p.m. in the Board's administrative offices at 224 Great Bridge Boulevard, Chesapeake, VA 23320. If you require reasonable accommodations, contact Amy Blondell at 757-819-6215 at least three (3) business days prior to the meeting.
Get Involved
Board members are appointed by Chesapeake City Council and serve three-year terms. State Code requires one-third of the Board to be made up of family members of individuals receiving mental health, intellectual disability, or substance abuse services, and one member must be a person who is currently receiving, or has received, CSB services.
